Pregnancy Discomfort (ie discomfort around other people's pregnancy)

Feeling discomfort around other’s people’s pregnancy is real was something I experienced myself going through IVF. It’s also something that many women have described to me. Some times it’s feeling uncomfortable in social circumstances when a friend announces a pregnancy, it might be the visceral reaction to walking in to a baby shower or it might be the sadness or jealousy that comes up at a family dinner when everyone is focusing on somebody’s pregnancy.
I find that many women feel guility for these feelings. Like they’re somehow a “bad” person for feeling them. I’m here to let you know your not, whether you describe it as a subtle sadness, a deep envy or even anger- none of these are “bad”. They’re your real emotions to your experience and longing.
In this week’s video I’m talking all about Pregnancy Discomfort and I give you 3 simple steps to help you with it: self-forgiveness, self-talk and self-preservation. Jump in and watch the video below to learn more about how to actually implement these 3 steps in to your life.
